Inspiration to the artwork

Like the phantom of a bell, this sculpture floats between two wall remains of a ruin. This filigree bell was formed from iron wires of concrete iron. The old iron struts already existing in the walls are holding points for this movable figure. The clapper made of the same material can be moved, but the bell remains silent. The iron of the wires used to form the bell and clapper will gradually increase their reddish-brown colouring, which will emphasize the contrast to the grey of the side walls.
