Learning Respect

This slender sculpture made of wood is similar in its shape to a human being. The figure is coated in red paint. This is the typical colour of Scandinavian houses. As this sculpture is located in the middle of a parc-like environment, the red is a contrast to the surrounding nature.

The weight of the sculpture is balanced on three anchor points, the legs and one arm, thus creating a forward and at the same time an upward movement. This dynamic is expansive.
