Inspiration to the artwork

Made of wood stacked closely together and a metal frame, this wall has the appearance of an obstacle. The surfaces of the logs are coloured red, a colour we know as house paint from northern countries. Gaps are visible between the pieces of wood. These and also the smell of the object are perceptible. Slips of paper with messages can be placed in the gaps. The position of this sculpture, which is located outside the church, allows viewers to walk around it.
